Hey folks!

Some has asked where I would be LIVE! Well, it seems that I have the Chance to play two hours live next year! It's a event for new blood artists, an acquaintance of me want to play me there! I don't cherish the illusion that this is my new international quantum jump, but perhaps that is a little chance that the people learn to know me more --- why I haven't played more live in the past? Because of the GEMA! You have to pay a lot of money here in Germany when you want to use music material for events, if you want to get any money for that! And you have to get money then, because you have costs when you play live! I had calculated and calculated all costs and have had a lot of fear to do that! What would be when only 10 people would come to my event and I have had 1000 Euro costs? I'm not rich, so that was the reason why I was afraid to jump on the stage!

However, now I have the chance to jump on the stage next year, so I have thought for weeks what equipment I could use for that! I read DJ MAG and producing magazines and have watched hundreds of tutorials at YOUTUBE in the last weeks, and you can believe that I'm not an naive idiot! I wanted to find out which equipment could be the best for me!

So this I have found out: I love dj-ing, so first I should buy an equipment what is better than that dj toys for home playing, that is sure! And if I haven't any chance to play live anywhere else after that event: stuff it! You know: there are also many, many musicians which are very good and you never see them in any charts of the world, but they love what they are doing - and so the same is with me I have found out!

Yeah, and so I need a better equipment than the dj - "toys", but I can't buy a equipment like Carl Cox, because I'm not a rich man. It has to be an equipment which is in the MIDDLE price level! I have a LAPTOP, so the first way would be to buy a 4 channel controller with a STAND ALONE mixer!! So later I could complete the set with CDJ's and / or turntables, all is possible then! That I have found out!

I want to buy one of these controller with STAND ALONE Mixers:

- Pioneer DDJ - SX ------ that would be the priciest controller of all, but I really like it! It comes with SERATO 4 channel Software and it has great pads to be very creative as a dj! A wonderful tool!

- Numark NS 6 ----- also a great tool, but it has not so many pads to be creative as a dj!

- Vestax VCI 400 ----- a special tool, it needs getting used to it, but then it is a creative tool like the Pioneer DDJ - SX! And not so pricy!

I still have the MM controller, MM Fusion and MM Studio, but the new technic is better for live working, and I want to work more live, even when I should do that predominant at home in future - I love dj - ing, sory!

So look at my three choices above and if you have an suggestion what you would buy of them I would be thankful! As I have told it: These are 4 channel controller with a STAND - ALONE mixer part, so that you could work with them even without a pc, only with turntables and CDJ's, or with all! That was one reason why I have chosen them, I think I buy one of these three, but which?

MM Studio is also cool today, but for live playing I think it's better to have a more creative equipment than MM Fusion - IMHO!

Ok, and again: I'm not the man which is creeping on the ground before the big dj's - why? It's great what they can do, but it's from this world, you and me could do it too, if we had such a equipment. The premise is that you love it and that you practise a lot, like it is with everything in life! That I mean when I say I work at eye - level with them! Yeah, my god ---- they are humans and they are also very happy when somebody talks with them on that level, have heard that lately! They don't want that somebody is creeping on the ground before them, no, no!
