About Me
Reynolds Santana, aka RX1 the gorilla, was born and raised in New orleans, Louisiana. He grew up listening to latin music as an influence from his mother and father being from the Domiaican Republic. His aunt and uncle then introduced him to hip hop a few years later as his father introduced him to house music at the age 10. By the age of 12, he was sneaking out going to raves then by fifteen was buying his first set of turntables.
Reynolds then started mixing hip hop and house by the age of 22, and won his first dj battle called Iron Man Dj Contest. After Katrina, he moved up to Portland and then fell in love with drum and bass. Now as one of the only jump up djs in Portland with his hip hop and scatching style, this dj rocks every show and you don't wanna miss it.
