About Me
Nithia, otherwise known as Nate, is part of a wave of fresh new talents currently emerging in the Singapore underground and alternative dance music scene.
Wanting to both make a significant contribution to the growing Singapore dance music culture and fill a musical and creative void, he enrolled into Pop Studio DJ Academy by Pop Trash. There, he went under the wing of Brendon P and Ashe Narayan.
Nate has long had a fascination for electronic dance music cutting across all genres and sub-genres, and has developed an awareness for quality sounds and grooves - sounds that capture and stimulate a crowds imagination, hearts and minds; and grooves that drive people to dance. If you had to describe this DJs sound, the words varied and diverse come to mind. For me, the challenge is to keep a groove, a vibe going for as long as you can and just build the thing. I try wherever possible to thread together tunes from different genres of music.
