Nightcrawlers is a Scottish house music project, assembled by producer, DJ and vocalist John Reid (born 6 September 1963).
In 1992, John Reid formed the act following his local success as a DJ and vocalist. He quickly released the debut single "Living Inside A Dream", which failed to reach any commercial success. Reid then decided to release a second single, "Push the Feeling On", which fared much better, becoming an overnight success, peaking at No. 7 on the US Hot Dance Club Play chart, and briefly crossing over to pop radio, peaking at No. 80 on the Billboard Hot 100, spending fifteen weeks on the chart. "Push The Feeling On" was then remixed by Marc Kinchen, an American record producer, who essentially reinvented the track. He stripped down the song to edited vocal samples, creating an unusual sounding track. His version, entitled 'The Dub of Doom Mix', first became known in 1993, and as such, it became heavily played on the underground scene for two years in the UK, eventually reaching No. 22 on the UK Singles Chart in October 1994 when it was commercially released. In 1995, MK created new mixes for the track, and the single was once again re-released, peaking at No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Reid's biggest hit in his homeland. Reid then released four further consecutive singles, all featuring remixes by MK. "Surrender Your Love" peaked at No. 7, "Don't Let The Feeling Go" peaked at No. 13, "Let's Push It" peaked at No. 23 and "Should I Ever (Fall in Love)" peaked at No. 34.
In September 1995, Reid released an album containing all six singles he had previously released, using the single "Let's Push It" as the album's title. MK once again worked closely with Reid, repeatedly remixing tracks to his trademark sound. In 1996, Reid released a remixed version of the album, entitled The 12" Mixes: An Album of the Very Best Club Remixes. In the same year, Reid released the single "Keep Pushing Our Love" featuring soul singer Alysha Warren, which peaked at #30, intended to be the lead single from a second studio album. However, due to poor sales of the single, a second album never materialised.
On This Megamix by Mixhouse Nightcrawlers are in good company with several Megastars.

D-A-D is a Danish rock band. It was originally named "Disneyland After Dark", but had to be renamed after The Walt Disney Company threatened a lawsuit.
Their style of music is often categorized as melodic heavy rock.
The band has also stylized its name as D.A.D., D•A•D, and D:A:D, each name representing a period in the band's history.
In the early 1980s in Copenhagen, Denmark, D-A-D started playing together under their original name Disneyland After Dark. Stig came up with the name based on the idea that when the lights are out in Disneyland, anything can happen. He thought the name reflected their music. The first lineup of D-A-D consisted of Jesper, Stig, Peter and Stig’s girlfriend, Lene Glumer. The band's debut concert was at the youth club Sundby Algaard. In December 1982 they forced Lene Glumer to leave the band, as she did not fit in, according to their opinion. The three of them kept playing together and on March 3. 1984 Jespers younger brother, Jacob joined the band at a concert at Musikcaféen in Copenhagen. They all liked the idea of him playing in the band and little by little he became a member of D-A-D.
The band wanted to make a record, so they began recording demo recordings in their rehearsal room. A friend of the band owned a record store, and helped them find contacts in the music business. John Rosing from the management bureau "Rock On" heard about Disneyland After Dark. He sought out the band in 1984, and became their booker. He took full management of the band until a year before he died of cancer in 1998.
The band released their first album, Call of the Wild in 1986.
The group made their international breakthrough in 1989 with the record No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims, which was released on the band's 5th birthday. The album became the band's greatest success, and also gave the band a million dollar contract with Warner Bros.. The band was poised for great success in the United States, but the breakthrough didn't happen. The band achieved some airplay with the single "Sleeping My Day Away", but in the end, the band gave up on the chance of making it big in the US, and focused on the European market.
The current lineup is Jesper Binzer, Jacob Binzer, Stig Pedersen and Laust Sonne.
The largest concert the band played as the opening act for the Böhse Onkelz on their farewell festival on 17 June 2005, about 120,000 people on the Euro Speedway Lausitz.
The band formed as a revolution against the pessimistic and arrogant attitude among punk musicians and their audience; they wanted to bring joy and life in their performances. The band's signature sound was conceived during rehearsal, when Stig tried to play a three-note riff with a different rhythm. The others joined in, the style known as cowpunk. The lyrics were made-up stories where abundant clichés were added as an ironic twist.
