With its long, slow take-off based in daydreaming chill-house, this session actually began as the new home for some outtakes from another mix. No matter how I came at it, though, I just couldn't stretch this into a full hour-long set -- and that's where the concept of a "shorty" first appeared.

And then, oh: snap! I realized that the way all this fell together had turned it into Shorty's Song.
