Sexy Latin & Brazilian House has always been a Donovan community favorite and DJ Donovan's first signature sound that differentiated his music style and his parties from anything before experienced in San Francisco. Donovan's sexy, sultry Latin House sound is most strongly affiliated and revered with memories of Donovan's legendary TOP OF THE MARK parties of 2004 and 2005, the most famous San Francisco party of the 21st century.
After 5 years of new musical paths & directions DJ Donovan has experimented and explored as a musical artist, Donovan returned to his traditional Latin House roots next Saturday, May 1, 2010 with the most highly requested and anticipated CD release of his career: "MI CASA: Sexy Latin & Brazilian House, Vol. III".
For this historical occasion, Donovan pulled out all the stops with an unprecedented "live music show" element Donovan has been pioneering in San Francisco nightlife, intertwining an arsenal of live musicians into his DJ performances (e.g. DONOVAN LIVE @ Vessel, BESO @ Mezzanine). On May 1st, Donovan's live DJ performance featured a 2 hour musical journey through the sensuality & passion of Latin House accompanied on stage by a live Spanish guitarist, Spanish pianist, trumpet player, saxophonist, an army of timbales & conga drummers, and Flamenco & Salsa dancers (replacing the traditional nightclub "go go dancers"smile.
