Track Eleven

Mate, you are killing it right at the start! Just made my day with this Sade cover - that's a big thing to say after listening to Dimsa's smooth jazz set! This is aweome!!! I just love Sade, all remixes, samping and cover and this is a very tasteful, brilliant adaptation - is that portugese? Even adds to the flavour...

Loved the groove on Track2, it's like tabla playing but it's not - the beats imitate the rhythm patterns of tabla, how cool it is! No surprise, Kruder remix, you bring out the heavy artillery for the new year, ah, how good!

And then it does not end, Iwas surprised to see Louis Armstrong in the tracklist and now I see Sarah Vaughn? These 2 tracks definitely have a WTF effect, first of all because I don't know them, is there a new Verve Remix album out? Secondly, they are both brilliant, it is really easy to screw up old jazz standard remixes as we've seen on Verve Remixed Vol. 4 - but this is fresh just like Vol 1 was. Need to look it up!

Track6 is frickin awesome with that dark feel and trumpet... my kind of mood, very much spot on! And then track7 comes in at 22:09, those beats are dope! Great harmonic mixing, that was a nice transition, did not even notice! The bass on Track7 is killer too, man, where do you get these tracks from! Mindblowing...

Slove Tempo just goes on with this great sound, one of my fav hip-hop grooves here in a nice ambient setting, brilliant sound again. Ineed to look at this sunset-lounge.tv now.

Nice speed-up at 28:50, I guess you did speed up but it is so subtle that I'm not even sure, can't really be noticed - the right way of doing it.

Track 9 is fresh, love the bass and the funky riffs, interesting compo of that typicat 70s soul-funk arrangement in a more ambient chill setting.

I like the way you move to more chilled sound in the next 4 tracks - and then finish it with a BOMB, wow, a new face of Earnshaw, this man is a genious! Again, dunno where you got this from, serious digging, I know most of the RE releases... Arrangement is a killer here, sometimes reminds of Mezzoforte and Incognito, Jazzanova and Kyoto Jazz Massive, just love the sound - the vocal is the cream on top, unbelievably beautiful. Does this end like this fading out of did you cut it? It could have listened to this forever...

Mate, this is an exceptional set, a masterpiece! I think this is the best in your series so far (I think I liked 3 very much too, but this I like even more!

. You dig up these amazing sounds, wondering how you got the time... Definitely an inspiration, I need to pull myself together and get back into downtempo lounging mode, there's so many great releases recently (the latest legnoch was also brilliant)
