The iT was a club with extravagant feasts international fame. On September 7, 1989 opened at the Amstelstraat No. 24 in Amsterdam. The iT was closed in 2002, reopened a few months later and finally closed in 2004.
The iT was known as a gay disco, with lots of cross-dressing, leather parties and male strippers. Also visited the heterosexual hip regarded as an opportunity in large numbers. Besides many famous Dutch knew instance, Grace Jones, Eddie Murphy and Boy George make their way to the iT find. The most famous DJs in the iT were turned DJ Jean and DJ Marcello.
