About Me
George Blazing has an almost 10 year experience in the art of DJing.
Over the years he has experimented with many music genres such as Pop, Rn’B, Hip Hop, Rock, Disco, Indie Dance/NuDisco, Trap, Electro Swing and various sub-genres of House and EDM in general. He has been practising in harmonic mixing for over seven years and he is a big supporter of the controlerism movement and digital DJing.
What he enjoys most is producing studio quality mixtapes with DAW software like Ableton Live and Mixmeister Fusion. He has produced mix shows for radios in the cities of Volos and Larissa (KISS 98, OK Radio 94.5, ALPHA-SKAI 103) and he has performed live at several gigs in both these cities.
Currently is the host of 2 mix shows (DeeJay DanceFloor and Best Of The Week) in one of the biggest radios in Larissa, 95.8 Larissa DeeJay. He also produces DeeJay’s “Top 3″ and “Top Tracks†spots. All tracks in these productions are selected by DeeJay’s Program Manager and mixed in the best way possible.
Every mix is based on the principles of beatmatching and keymatching to make sure all the transitions are as smooth as possible and tonically correct. The energy levels of the mix (especially in the DeeJay DanceFloor) are manipulated by changes in the BPM and in the rate of transitions. The final result is a big mash-up track / symphony that maintains a typical Progressive House-like structure.
