Mr. Xochiphilli Rebolloso (a.k.a Mr.Rebolloso) is homegrown Californian from the North County San Diego area. He was formerly known as MedicineMan. Rebolloso began playing in 2003 starting off with electronic music and his love for Breaks. With his unique styles of mixing and music selection,
He branched off into other genres that influenced him throughout life, such as House, Techno, Electro, Jungle/Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Punk and Raggae Dub as well as many others. With a open mind to all forms of music he began to develop styles as people as well as musicians at a rapid pace. It was then that he realized that music is not just a way to get your groove on, it is also a path to enlightenment.
He was always impressed with the art of djing and decided that it was something he wanted to try. So the times he got to throw down need to be memorable for everyone involved. This means not only mixing skills, but also keeping on top of the hot tracks, djs, and producers.
Mr.Rebolloso keeps his ears to the streets by getting their hands on new releases and are on top of his game when it comes to knowing who and what will make the people dance.
Even though he strictly breaks dj's, funky, nu-skool, whatever. He will sometimes throw down some house, electro, progressive, drum and bass, etc. As long as it has a good sound, it's got a chance in his sets. Good music is simply good music!
