About Me
DJ Zjelva is Sacco Koster, founder of Amsterdam based booking agency Zjelva Pro Motions. He lived in Prague from July 1994 till February 1996. That’s where he started his dj-career: in the legendary underground club Mis-Mas. After having played at various parties in Prague for local party-organisation Planet Alfa, Zjelva became resident lounge-dj (avant la lettre) in Prague’s first houseclub Radost FX. Back in Holland he became lounge-resident in Club Stalker in Haarlem. Since then, Zjelva’s dj-career brought him to over 50 clubs and festivals all over the Netherlands, as well as to countries like South Africa, Australia, Russia and Czech Republic.
The idea behind Zjelvas dj-sets was (and still is) to enjoy people with a variety of great dance music, whether it's afrolatin, tribal, electro, balkan beats, disco, dub, reggae, salsa, funky breaks, jazzy grooves or whatever. The Zjelva dj-style is especially appropriate for an open-minded audience who come to dance and party.
