About Me
How it all began
Born in the South of France (December 13, 1983) to German parents.
Alex discovered at his young age his love to music and computer.
Passioned by the technology and what one was able to do.
His ambition grew in to the secret of combinig passion and technology. His ability grew with it and he became more and more fascinated with the power music has over people, bringing them joy with each beat.
He put his focus only on the music and the people listening to it and how to bring them together.
He travelled around to see the best DJ’s in the world, listening to and learning from them, and finally developing his own unique musical print, his sound is inspired by all genres and styles.
2010
He started in, publishing his ‘Happy Music’, a Mix of Trance, Progressive, Tribal and House Sessions.
On the Internet he published his first podcasts, called “Destination: Infinity”. They consisted mostly of Trance and Progressive. With his growing popularity he found ways to use and show his great musical talent. He started to perform live gigs all over Europe and launched his own radio show on Puresound.FM.
The music he played was mostly Trance and Progressive. Another show, called “Sound Rise”, followed. It was broadcasted on the popular radio station DI.FM, playing mostly House and Tribal Music.
2012
With the success of the various Broadcasts he started to compose and mix his own tracks and finally started publishing them in.
2014
Alex signed his Vocal Summer Anthem ‘LOVE IS UNDER MY SKIN’ on Drealistic Records which also has been released by multiple labels like Club Session, Play This! Records or Recovery House.
He also signed his euphoric tune ‘LOVE SURVIVES’ on Drealistic Records which got the favours of the EDM blog ‘YourEDM’.
2015
Alex signed on Sir Adrian’s Label.
2016
Signed by ‘Black Sunset Music (Black Hole Recordings)’ followed by the release of his Trance Track ‘MIREYA’ which got quickly supported by DJ’s like Armin van Buuren, Giuseppe Ottaviani…
In February the Black Hole Recordings Family released « HELIOS», which got supported by Paul Oakenfold and picked up by the Staff Selection on Beatport.
In February Alex also joined Ternary Recordings who signed his track “NUNKI”
March: release of his vocal track ‘ALIVE’ recorded with the singer Lokka Vox on Sir Adrian’s Label, Remixed as well by the Russian Producer Alexander Turok. Alive stayed for many weeks in Beatport & Trackitdown Top 100 Trance Releases.
In April, Alex released “Ruffle Things” on Aly & Fila’s Label ‘Future Sound of Egypt Excelsior’ (Armada) which got already a big support by Dj’s like Cosmic Gate, Jes, Dave Pearce and Maarten de Jong… And got also reviewed on the EDM Blog ‘Flux BPM’.
More productions are on the way right now & lots of surprises to come !
2016 is already for sure another big year with new collaborations and productions of Alex Leavon. So stay tuned !!!
