DJ Echo was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and spent most of his childhood in Spanish Harlem where he developed his passion for music and became DJ Echo. With over 16 years of DJing, he has become a true vanguard in the world of Dance, Hip Hop, Latin, House and Reggae music. DJ Echo attributes music as the most influential thing in his life and goes as far as to say that music is an agent of positive change in all aspects of society and culture. After taking nine years off from the music scene to focus on family, DJ Echo has returned to do what he loves to do and there is no letting go. He is an old school DJ who loves doing remixes and blends and fusing music styles. He also enjoys collaborating with other DJs and artists in general. DJ Echo had the pleasure of meeting and working with a lot of different dj's such as Mike Sessions and Dj Blade from the Big Dawg Pitbulls, DJ Kev Rockwell, Dj Incrediboi of VH1 masters of the mix ,Lord Finesse,and other talented DJ’s. DJ Echo has also worked with Freestyle and Hip Hop artist such as Coro, Sammy Zone, Mickey D, Devastating Tito of the Fearless 4,Globe Soul Sonic force, Black rob, Chubb rock, Computer of Mob Deep, Candela the voice of latin America, Rakim the god, Petawane and many more. Dj Echo has also worked at various lounges such as El Blogue Lounge, Nicky’s Beer Garden, Gasolinas. La Cocina Boricua, Club Miami, 46 st. Station House, Bx Beer Garden, Blackthorn 51 and many more. He has also been working with unsigned artists at their showcases like Married to my Hustle showcase with Miss Irie and Dacor Capone of Booted out Ent. with Jack Thriller of Wild'n Out and this is 50.com and Mysonne's real hip hop showcase. Thanks to DJ Victor Overdose, A true mentor and role model, Victor Overdose was instrumental in getting DJ Echo into the house music scene. In addition to spinning, DJ Echo promotes new and upcoming artist such as will porter, GMPC Ent. and many more In addition to DJ Echo’s experience and passion for his occupation,DJ Echo had the privilege to do the 2014 Bx Puerto Rican festival and Spanish Harlem's Puerto Rican festival and the 2014 team fearless Hip Hop Honor awards.
