About Me
DJ Darzid (aka The Wizard) started DJing at the age of 13, with Hardcore and later Techno. After a few years, some of his friends were going to goa-trance parties a lot, and asked him to come along. He immediately liked the music and the atmosphere, and got hooked to goa-trance/psy-trance.
In the summer of 2002 Darzid quit playing Techno and started off as a psychedelic DJ at parties around Amsterdam, playing on some in- and outdoor-parties. He got lots of positive feedback, which really pushed him to go on. After that he played for many different organisations in Holland and Belgium, with some of the most memorable being in Ruigoord, Amsterdam and some excellent parties on the beach near the Hague.
He's a regular DJ at the Shut-up-and-dance and Midplok parties in Den Haag, and has also combined his DJ sets with livesets the last couple of years.
