About Me
DJ Jah Son is a dj/producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Originally from Chicago where he started dj'ing 8 years ago, he now resides in Los Angeles. Jah Son is also a percussionist, and remix specialist for the Chicago based dub reggae band The Drastics. He also plays percussion and produces for the hip hop crew Illuminati Congo out of Chicago as well. Lately, he has been spending his time working on his first full length album of 60's and 70's soul renditions, and producing tracks for a worldwide network of artists. His dj sets are fluid, minimal, yet engaging. You will find bass heavy instrumental hiphop textures, with ambient dub overtones.
