A true vinyl purist at heart, to this day you will see him spin nothing but wax at the clubs. Ever since he was a young boy, Surgeo has been surrounded by music so it’s no wonder it has become his life’s passion. Surgeo found himself exposed to various different styles of music at a young age. Some of his early influences include Classic Rock, Disco, Soul and Funk. As he grew older, Surgeo quickly found himself drawn to the DJ culture Surgeo discovered House Music and he had found his passion. Since the 90’s, Surgeo has played for numerous clubs and events throughout Southern California and has held monthly Southern California residencies at Naked, Raw, and Cupids. Today, Surgeo continues his career playing at super clubs such as Avalon in Hollywood for their infamous Afterhour Power and Club Crasher events. He was also a resident DJ for over 5 years with the weekly underground afterhours event ‘Last Man Standing’.
