About Me
Been dj'ing for 15+ years. I was into hip hop and electro in the early to mid 80s then progressed to jazz, funk, soul and rare groove via labels such as Acid Jazz and Talkin Jazz. I was going to soul nights, listening to the likes of Loose Ends and Fat Larry's Band. Then, in late 88 I found house music or rather it found me! My first 'house' experience was ' Outer Limits ' run by Eddie Richards, those nights were awesome. By the early 90s the scene move underground and we went to 'Wiggle' wharehouse parties.
I got my own set up and in 2002 I got 1210s. I use both vinyl and cd now as vinyl is getting harder to find! I've played out a few times over the years at parties and the odd club but nowhere near as much as I'd like, I'd love to run my own night.
My current taste in music sways towards the soulful and deep side, especially house and disco. Fave labels include Freerange, Sonar Kollective, JCR, 20/20 vision and Tirk.
