Olivier Velay starts his career in the music business integrating DISTANCE MUSIC in march 1995 as A&R Manager. This will be the beginning of a successful career, leading DISTANCE MUSIC through the years to become one of the most successful and recognised House Music label in the late 90s and beginning of the 2000s, signing such artists as Kevin Yost, Paul Johnson, Romanthony, Sandy Rivera or Todd Edwards, including the hits « Finally » by K.O.T in 2001 and « Diamond Life » by Julie Mc Knight in 2003. In 2004, Olivier creates STALWART with DJ Rork. Besides his office work, Olivier Velay is also an in-demand DJ. Starting mixing professionally in 1998, he plays funky energetic house sets to dedicated crowds in the biggest parisian clubs (Rex Club, Queen, Red Light, Club 287, Wagg, Mezzanine de L Alcazar) but also overseas (London, Miami, Estonia, Mexico, UK). He is now resident DJ at the bar-club Sanz-Sans in Paris (a legendary place in the parisian nightlife) every week end.
